What once was...

OTHER STUFFPosted by SarahFJ 2012-09-27 10:59:34
...is now gone...but not for ever I hope!

Here's an update for all of you who have not been part of my life the past few years, I recently graduated as a scenographer from the Norwegian Theatre Academy after three years of intensive insight into everything that, to the smallest detail, can be associated with the performing arts and design.

We have had workshops ranging from dance to light, movement in space, exhibition design, modeling, multimedia as well as skill training in painting, drawing and CAD.
This type of project-based work prepares us not only for an intensive everyday life in reality but also to facilitate the ability to communicate our ideas and discuss solutions with other fields, such as light and sound. You can reach further if you both know what you want and have an idea of how to fix it.

I was also smart enough to take advantage of the chance to go on exchange. smiley

I took the fall semester 2011 in Seoul, Korea, the Korea National Universety of Arts / K-Arts. It was simply, absolutely fantastic. Not only ar I challenged myself in costume design and film-making, but I also got to practice the slack line or "Jultagi" with some wonderful people.

Then I went to Copenhagen, Denmark, for a more "normal" semester, where I did two projects. An "independent production" and a "Directed production".

There might come more flashbacks later, but this is it for now. I will also put pictures from all of my projects on my web-page.

KNIV-PAPP-LINJAL-FOKUS

PROJECTSPosted by SarahFJ 2012-09-25 21:38:07
